Mainly based in the London office, their work is about data, people and squeezing themselves into the mind of the UK motorist so they can work out how to best meet their needs.
One of the main reasons Auto Trader truly stand out in the digital automotive market is the strength of its brand. But without the blood, sweat and tears we put in to our marketing, none of this would be possible.
What exactly does the team do?
Our Advertising Sales and Marketing team are responsible for acquiring, converting and retaining consumers across desktop and mobile. They make sure we meet dealers’ needs delivering more consumer website traffic than any other site. They turn customers who are thinking of selling into sellers. And they keep Auto Trader at the front of consumers’ minds so that they wouldn’t dream of going with anyone else when they’re ready to buy or sell. In addition to all this, our display advertising team manages relationships with the automotive manufacturers and their media agencies to make sure their ads look amazing and reach all the right people.
Our team are the masters of all media channels, from email to social to the latest video on demand and display technology. And of course, that super-satisfying, name-in-lights TV ad that everyone sees.
