Application

Complete your application form in your own time and make sure it's tailored to the role you're applying for. We have an application top tips video to give you some pointers at this stage.

We know AI is growing presence and it's difficult to know how to use it, especially when applying for a new role. That's why we've put together some helpful guidance to put you on the right path.

First Stage

Once we've looked at your application, you'll speak to a member of the team over Microsoft Teams. You'll talk about your motivations, experience and suitability for the role. To help you prepare, take a look at our interview top tips video.

Second Stage

At the next stage, you'll be invited to our office to complete a task related to the role you've applied for. There'll also be a competency-based interview and a short office tour.

Final Stage

You will get you the opportunity to speak to a member of our Leadership team and discuss our six company values and culture. This could be in-person or over Microsoft Teams.

Inclusive hiring

We want people to be at their best throughout the recruitment process. That's why we make reasonable adjustments where possible to provide a fair experience for everyone. You'll be given an assessment guide before each stage so there are no surprises, but if there's anything else we can help with, please get in touch.

Reasonable adjustments we've made include (but aren't limited to) extra time for a practical test, printing off interview questions during interview, and sending the interview questions to candidates in advance.

You don't need a formal diagnosis to ask for reasonable adjustments, we'll work with you as much as we can to help you be at your best. Feel free to contact the recruitment team to find out more recruitment@autotrader.co.uk.
