The recruitment team

At Auto Trader, we understand that embarking on a new career journey can be both exciting and daunting. Our team of dedicated and passionate recruitment experts are here to guide and support you. Mandip, Emily, Lana, Natasha, Claire, Alastair or Hannah will be with you every step of the way.

Your recruitment journey



Take your time completing the application form and tailor it to the role you are applying to; our application top tips video can help you with this stage.

First Stage

You will speak to a member of the team over Microsoft Teams, where we'll discuss your motivations, experience and suitability for the role. Watch our interview top tips video and let us help you prepare.

Second Stage

You will be invited to our office to complete a job-related task relevant to the role you are applying for. There will also be a competency-based interview and where possible, a short office tour.

For some roles, this stage may be split into two, with a job-related task taking place over Microsoft Teams.

Final Stage

This is a great opportunity to speak to a member of our Leadership team and discuss our six company values and alignment to the role. This could either be in person or over Microsoft Teams.


If you have been successful at each stage, we will be excited to make you an offer!

All offers are subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, which generally take two weeks to complete.
