The Job

The Role

We are currently recruiting for a talented Account Director to be responsible for Auto Trader’s largest franchise and supermarket customers. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated individual to help shape our future account management as we live and breathe the Mission of sales which is to be “World Class business partners to our retailers”.

This role requires an individual who is brilliant with customers, truly passionate about our brand and products and is always committed to delivering exceptional account management which provides mutually beneficial results across our head office and retailer contacts.

The Requirements

Applicants must have proven success in retaining and growing revenue from clients within a complex sales environment.  Whilst superb at building customer relationships and being able to differentiate from the competition, the role also demands strong internal stakeholder management. Significant experience in an account management or sales role is required in a digital environment along with experience of working with a range of digital products and solutions.

You will thrive on building values-driven relationships with customers, have excellent networking and interpersonal skills, commercial acumen and the ability to understand a client’s business needs and have solutions / insight as to how they can be fulfilled. 

You will also have proven negotiation and influencing skills, strong organisational skills, competence in the use and presentation of data and the ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

This is a field based role working with customers mainly based in the North West, however, this role will involve UK Wide Travel.
